Meg has over 25 years experience in a range of settings including University (teaching and clinical education), outreach, hospital, mental health, schools (mainstream and special schools), community health, disability and for the last 9 years in the private sector.

Meg is able to provide services to both children and adults with speech, language, developmental delay/disability, autism, literacy, social interaction difficulties. Meg is a trained facilitator for Hanen programs, “It Takes Two To Talk” (communication delay), “More Than Words” (ASD early communicator) and “Talkability” (higher level ASD). Meg has a special interest in complex children and adults with little or no speech who have augmentative and alternative communication needs. Meg also has a strong interest and extensive experience in working with autistic young people who are struggling to meet the social and emotional demands of their environments. This includes twice or thrice exceptional kids who might be autistic and gifted.

Meg has a diverse background including facilitating parent training programs including “Tuning into Kids” and “Parent-child Mother Goose”, Mindfulness for Kids and teaching yoga to adults and children.

Meg is passionate about supporting children, families and people with disabilities to be the best that they can be. She has a strong belief in presuming competence – perception drives expectation, expectation drives opportunity, opportunity drives achievement, achievement drives perception.
